HempX Asheville, now in its third year, is the only "hands on hemp" event in the South. Located at Franny's Farm, 20 minutes from Asheville, the festival features paper making, weaving, braking, and hempcrete design workshops led by experts throughout the South. There is also panels and demos, a Activist Hour with Craig Lee, and the HempXConcert - Jane Kramer with Free Planet Radio & Billy Cardine. All of this is included in tyour $25 Saturday ticket. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22ND Welcome Reception/Dinner 6-9pm ($25.00) "A Taste of Hemp" - Enjoy hemp-infused cocktails and dinner under the Big Tent @ Franny's Farm. Please dress casual and comfortable and be sure to visit the VIP vendors that will already be set up on the farm. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD Vendors Open 11am-6pm Get a head start and come early to visit with all those vendors and organizations at HempX Asheville. The vendor tents will be open throughout the entire day. The HempX Experience 12:00-5pm ($25.00) All workshops, demos, and panels will be held @Franny's Farm. The afternoon schedule allows everyone plenty of time to take the self guided Farm Tour and take a peek at a working hemp field. Now that NC's industrial hemp pilot program is underway, we are adding more panels and discussions with hemp farmers from NC & KY. There will be some walking involved and expect to get a little dirty. Be sure to dress casual and comfortable, wear the right shoes, and bring a water bottle. After registration, you will receive your designated workshop schedule via email on September 10th. There will be a food truck on site (12-8pm), plenty of water refill stations, and hemp-infused free samples throughout the day. 5-6pm - The Activist Hour with Kentucky legend Craig Lee 7pm - The HempXConcert - Jane Kramer with Free Planet Radio & Billy Cardine This concert is included with every $25 Saturday ticket and we are selling a limited number of tickets for the concert for $12 here. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the North Carolina Industrial Hemp Association and their support of hemp farmers across NC.
