NFL Players could play a huge roll in the expansion of medical cannabis. Since the creation of the NFL, opiate addiction among players has been a major issue. Players are given legal prescription pain killers from their doctors to deal with injuries sustained while on the field, pain killers that are very similiar to heroin and are very addictive.

NFL players are now funding research to tell if cannabis oil is a legitamate substitute pain killer. This is great news for the medical cannabis community as we await the results.
