Cannabis Classic Awards

This May, the Cannabis Classic, presented by Pakalolo Supply Co., will host its inaugural cannabis industry awards show in downtown Anchorage. The event, which takes place on Saturday, May 20 from 5:30 to 9 p.m., will highlight the top businesses and talent that defines Alaska’s cannabis community. The eight (8) industry award categories include: Cannabis Store of the Year Best Budtender Best Retail Product Best Product Packaging & Design Best Testing Lab Best Garden Supply Store Best Glass Shop Best Cannabis Journalist/Reporter These awards will recognize and reward businesses and professionals who have worked tirelessly to pioneer and develop Alaska’s cannabis industry. “The Cannabis Classic Industry Awards are an opportunity to highlight the positive contribution people are making to the Alaska cannabis industry,” says Cory Wray, co-director of the Cannabis Classic. “The Cannabis Classic has always been about recognizing and rewarding excellence in the cannabis industry, so adding the industry awards to the Cannabis Classic program is really exciting.” Anybody can nominate a business or a person for the Cannabis Classic Industry Awards. The Cannabis Classic awards committee will begin accepting nominations March 1, 2017 through March 31, 2017. Nominees will be announced April 3, 2017; and voting will commence on April 5, 2017. People will be able to vote one of three ways: online, via social media, or in-person at participating retail stores.
