As of January 1st, 2017, adults 21 or older can be in the possession of marijuana. Learn why this is important for business owners, the community and those interested in working in Nevada's cannabis industry. WHO: TRIM READYâ„¢ is a professional service in the cannabis industry that connects job seekers. We provide cannabis education, job training and placement. Our curriculum exceeds the MME agent card requirements as set forth in NAC 453A.336. We have graduated over 1200 students since January 2015 and placed graduates at the following Medical Marijuana Establishments (MME): SHANGO, Euphoria Wellness, Canabiotix, INYO Cannabis Dispensary, THE Source, Cannacopia, Silver Sage Wellness, Oasis Dispensary, LV Releaf, Nevada Medical Marijuana, Thompson Farms, Rite Greens, NuVeda, Evergreen Organix, Green Life Productions, The Grove, Medizin and Greenway Medical. WHAT: We will be holding an open house so anyone interested in working in this industry can get information about job opportunities, employment requirements and patient possession laws. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with a program coordinator and sign up for upcoming job training courses. WHY: Nevada law requires employees of a Medical Marijuana Establishment (MME) to be trained in order to receive an agents work card.
