Day One Line Up - April 20 Black Mastiff The Black Mastiff is a powerful breed known for its thick grooves, tasteful leads, and soothing melodies. Though new to the scene they have over 35 years of previous touring and playing experience combined! This breed of musicianship is well versed in the trials and triumphs of being a Canadian working band. The Black Mastiff has a gentle temperament, but will not back down when presented with the opportunity to flex their powerful, yet soulful sound. ~ Not recommended for those that are ‘faint of heart’. This breed delivers a heavy dose of stoner soul rock. They are not afraid to stray from home and roam the nation; commanding attention, they convert idle listeners. The Black Mastiff is a first-rate breed and with very little effort is sure to provide an excellent life long companion for anyone who is looking for a fresh and honest working breed. HighKicks Fuzzed out power rockers *HighKicks* are your new favourite band. Listen to their album and tell me I'm wrong. See their rock show and tell me I'm crazy. Featuring members of the Dudes, This City Defects, Dojo Workhorse and Axis of Conversation, HighKicks are old pros at keeping it RAD. They're coming to your town soon, so keep an eye out if you like honest to goodness, sing along fuzz rock, or just stay home and watch reruns of Frasier if that's not your thing. La Chinga La Chinga is a hard Rock power trio with psychedelic powers sitting on the worlds edge in Vancouver, Canada. Drawing from Sabbath, Zep, the MC5 and their own superbad habits, La Chinga has established a beachhead with Detroit's Small Stone records and a penetrating buzz across Canadian campus radio. Released in 2013, the bands debut self-titled album prompted ecstatic reviews from the kind of people who wonder why they don't make em like this anymore. The Electric Revival 1930s film director Tod Browning probably never listened to much heavy music in his day, but he most certainly understood what it meant to stand apart from the crowd. Such was the cinematic bite of his black and white thriller Freaks. While the three members of The Electric Revival may not have had that cult classic in mind when they named their new album, guitarist-vocalist Ian Dillon, drummer Dallas Lobb and bassist Dan Toews are no strangers to playing the role of disenfranchised misfits who thrive on performing before an awestruck crowd. Buffalo Bud Buster Heavy, dirty stoner rock-n-roll from Calgary, Canada. Draped in fur, soaked in fuzz. The bands loves are: Riffs n spliffs, beer & hockey. Going to shows, tattoos, fast cars and trips to Mars. Hypnopilot 3 piece fuzz band from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Calgary's original Stoner rock band. Set & Stoned Set & Stoned is a three piece rock band with elements of blues, funk and metal. The group formed in the small town of Crossfield Alberta in 2012. Set & Stoned is back with the original band members; Cody New on guitar and vocals, Jordan Wilkinson on bass guitar and back vocals, and Nick Robillard on drums.
