Step Up for Cannabis Reform - State House Lobbying Day

Sick of the status quo with Vermont cannabis policy? Step up and join advocates from across the state for a full day of legislative outreach and fight fear-mongering and paid lobbying with facts and grassroots action--the true 'Vermont Way' With the H170 legalization bill and the S.16 medical marijuana bill both at crucial junctures, this is for ALL CANNABIS ADVOCATES. First time in the State House? No problem - the day will begin at 9am with a presentation by Lt. Governor David Zuckerman who will share advice and pointers for advocates in how to talk to their representatives about cannabis reform. We'll release a more detailed schedule as the day progresses, but highlights will include lunch with legislators at Noon, an outside rally at 4:20pm, and a post-event meetup at The Skinny Pancake-Montpelier. How to get started: 1- RSVP on facebook 2- Find your representatives online at http://legislature.vermont.gov/people/search/2018 3- Email your representatives and request a time to meet with him/her in person, here's a sample script: "Dear ____________, My name is _________ and I'm one of your constituents who lives in __________.
