Marijuana Town Hall

Rep. Cassidy and Sen. Steans will be hosting a town hall discussion about their recent proposal to legalize marijuana in Illinois. Come learn about the bill, and how you can get involved. If you can't attend or would rather watch from home, there will be a Facebook Live stream. Speakers: State Representative Kelly Cassidy, 14th District State Senator Heather Steans, 7th District Rev. Alexander Sharp, Safer Illinois Coalition Bryan Zises, Dispenary 33 The representatives will address the details of the bill, when they expect it to come up for a vote, the benefits Illinois would see, and more. Rev. Sharp will discuss Safer Illinois, a new broad-base coalition supporting legalization in Illinois. Bryan Zises will speak on his experience on the business side of medical marijuana.
