Twitter Fingaz Action: End Racist Marijuana Arrests in ATL!

On Friday, April 14, we need your Twitta Fingaz! Next week, the Atlanta City Council will be voting on ordinance 17-O-1152. If passed, this ordinance will end marijuana arrests for possession under 1 ounce or 28 grams. We need to place pressure on each member of City Council! Atlanta's anti-marijuana laws are fundamentally racist and allow for hundreds of young Black people to be locked away inside of the Atlanta city jail every year. Between 2014 and 2016: The Atlanta Police Department made a total of 1,070 marijuana arrest. 1,032 (96%) of those arrests were for marijuana possession under 1 ounce. Of those arrests, 945 (92%) were Black. Twitter Targets: Yolanda Adrean, @yadrean Natalyn Archibong, @NMArchibong Alex Wan, @AlexWanforATL Joyce M. Shepherd, @joycesheperd Michael J.
