Discover The Hemplands | Hunt-Morgan House (Gratz Park)

Join us as we launch the Heritage Hemp Trail with a special event series "Discover the Hemplands" during Hemp History Week! We're excited to kick-off the series with The Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation at the Hunt-Morgan Home in Lexington on Monday, June 5 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM! This will be an open-house style event for guests to tour the historic home of Kentucky hemp pioneer, John Welsey Hunt, and learn about the early manufacturing industry that developed around Gratz Park. We will have a limited number of Heritage Hemp Trail maps printed on hemp paper available, in addition to hemp sampes from Hemp History Week sponsors. The event is FREE and donations are appreciated. All proceeds benefit Blue Grass Trust.
