420 Over 40 / Medical Marijuana for Lady Vets (plus LEOs, FFs, EMTs)

Hemp Kettle Tea Company and Lavender Buds will be co-hosting a two-part event at Femme Fatale DC's new space 1371 St. NE on Sunday, June 18. FFDC is a women's business incubator. We are looking for speakers willing to share and attendees who would benefit from this event. Part 1 (1-2:30pm) -- "420 Over 40" -- We're looking for women over 40, 50, 60+ who have medically benefitted from cannabis or CBD and would like to share their story. Part 2 (3-4:30pm) -- "Lady Vets And MMJ" -- We're looking for female veterans or women who have served in high stress careers like law enforcement, fire fighting, or paramedic work and who have medically benefitted from cannabis or CBD and would like to share their story. In both we will have a 45-minute presentation of experts, testimonials, and facts about each group's specific issues and treatment options. Then, we will have 45-minute demonstrations and discussions of various paraphernalia and consumption methods such as pipes, rolling papers, water pipes (bongs), dab rigs, and coconut oil salve and edible preparations.
