The Future of Cannabis

Almost half of all adults have tried marijuana, and 13 percent admit smoking it regularly. Last year, Californians voted to legalize recreational marijuana, but nearly 1 in 5 residents already use the plant medicinally. To prepare for full legalization, state and local stakeholders are crafting new laws and guidelines for everything from marijuana cultivation to marketing practices. How will communities and individuals manage the economic and social impacts of the new Green Rush?
