Veterans, Professionals, Patients, Families, and the public will converge for this annual one hour event, hosted by Veteran Rescue Mission, to have an open, informative, and honest conversation about the positive and negative effects of Medical Marijuana in addressing PTSD and other Combat ailments. This informative and collaborative forum will be located at Tucson’s Brand New CBD Lounge and Event location, The Coughee Club on 125 E. Pennington St. at 6:00 p.m. - 7:00p.m. Panel Guests / Professionals: - David Puffer, US Army Vet, Homeless Advocate / MMJ Patient - Ricardo Pereyda, Us Army Vet, Veteran / MMJ Advocate / Patient - Lewis Arthur, Homeless Veteran Activist/ MMJ Patient, Veterans on Patrol - Frankie Valenzuela, Founder DR. Following the presentations, there will be a question and answers segment of the forum where people may ask questions, or discuss with our professionals, other solutions they see possible in our neighborhoods. Battle Buddy Competition Following this educational forum, MMJ patients are invited to participate as judges in the best of three different strains of Medical Marijuana flower for FREE. A representative with Dr. IV.XX will be available to schedule people to get their MMJ certification and card. This three hour event (7:00-10:00pm) will include food, live music, and interactive games. *This is a BYOBud event. NO MMJ card needed for entrance: Admission is $15 for civilians, and $10 first responders and vets. 18+ event.
