Petition for Marijuana: Fireworks on 4th of July

Fourth of July Fireworks Event Racine Green Party #: 262-676-2208 Event Description: The Racine Green Party is continuing the fight for the ‘Decriminalization of Marijuana’ by running a petition drive during/at Racine’s 4th of July Fireworks. We’ll have our volunteers at the Oasis on North Beach as well as by the harbor. We are going to start at about 8pm and petition until the start of the fireworks. The fireworks will reportedly start at 9:20pm and likely end near 10pm. Then a handful of volunteers will petition until 11pm as people slowly empty from the beach. We will continue to hang around until the crowd has packed up and left and will be able to collect the completed petition sheets from our volunteers. Anyone supportive of this cause and/or interested in petitioning with us is encouraged to do so. We will be at the Racine Green Party HQ during July 3rd until about 5:30pm for any/all who would like to come in and get prepared for the fireworks.
