Medical Marijuana Legislation Workshop

This workshop will have several presentations going over the medical marijuana legislation that was passed in the state of Michigan last year. This is only a workshop and no decisions will be made at this meeting. Bedford township has to decide if there will be any of the 5 licensing types issued for Bedford Township. This workshop will help to educate the township on what the changes are as well as the possible good or bad that would result from issuing, or not issuing the new business license. To be discussed: The five (5) options: grower, provisioning center, processor, secure transporter, or safety compliance facilities. Where? Limits/restrictions? Permit fees? Locations near schools/churches?
