2017 Vermont Hemp Fest

Heady Vermont is thrilled to announce the first annual Vermont Hemp Fest at Burke Mountain, a day-long event that provides educational resources and community connections for those with an interest in Agricultural Hemp in Vermont, including landowners, entrepreneurs, farmers, artisans, and investors. Buy Tickets: http://vermonthempfest.brownpapertickets.com/ Hemp Fest will kick off with a Vermont Hemp Fest Pre-Registration Kickoff Party sponsored by ProVerde Laboratories, Inc. on Friday, September 8 for those who wish to start the weekend early. Exhibitor displays, workshops and programming will take place on Saturday, September 9 in the brand-new Burke Mountain Hotel & Conference Center. On Saturday, registration begins at 9:30 a.m., exhibitor booths open by 10 a.m., and the first panel discussion begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Ballroom. Vendors are located both in the Ballroom and the Day Lodge of the resort. The first couple sessions in the morning are followed by lunch from Burke Mountain’s View Pub and the Genuine Jamaican food truck on the patio, along with a lunchtime yoga session from Jane Yoga. We'll also have an Instagram Photo Booth near registration outside the Ballroom! Kentucky farmer, veteran and Growing Warriors founder Michael Lewis will present the Hemp Fest keynote at 1 p.m. Additional panel session members throughout the day include the Vermont Agricultural Extension, who will share practical information for Vermont landowners and farmers; the Vermont Hemp Company, who will share information and answer questions about planting, cultivating, and harvesting hemp in Vermont; Ceres PM, who will touch on uses, effects and applications of ‘non-psychoactive compound cannabidiol’; and the PhytoScience institute, who will talk about the endocannabinoid system and treatments for medical disorders. After the last panel discussion, there will be a Hempy Hour from 4-5:30 p.m., where beer sponsors Green Empire Brewing will unveil their new beer launch. This happy hour break will also include Best Hemp Fest Booth and Raffle Prize winner announcements, as well as a rosin pressing demonstration from Creek Valley Cannabidiol.
