City Council decision on commercial marijuana

DID YOU KNOW THIS MAY HAPPEN IN FILLMORE?!... Without your much-needed help, a marijuana cultivation farm WILL be opening near the Two Rivers playground and skate park. Marijuana advocates are falsely promising lower water and sewage bills with no guarantee from the City Council. Show your concern by simply attending this City Council meeting: Tuesday, August 8th at 6:30pm Fillmore City Hall, 250 Central Avenue, Fillmore, CA 93015 Public comments will also be allowed by anybody willing to speak. Fillmore City Council hired a consultant to facilitate a commercial marijuana listening workshop and he is scheduled to report back the results to the council. He will present his full analysis of participant responses, at which point the council will decide whether to move forward on the topic.
