Another very popular recurring menu in the past 2 years. Now that it is fully legal for adults in this state, no medical marijuana license is needed to attend! Anyone over 21 is welcome. Saturday, August 12, 2017 7 pm limited space for 17 $60/person for tickets: http://fst.im/s/e8ba817c?rf=fwebcmktshrecopy Grower and artist, Augustus Manley has a nice herb garden in his home near the town of Sonoma where he has been growing medical marijuana for many years. This is our third collaboration together and the last 2 have been immense fun! None of the food is infused (made that mistake with the first pairing menu and it is too intense!) but we are passing vaporizers around with some of the wonderful varieties from Augustus' garden. We then pair the menu to the flavors and aromas of the herb. 1 Haze and corn soup Haze, a nice sativa strain with its tart slightly cardamom-esque flavor will be followed by a Thai flavored corn soup. Makrut lime leaves, lemongrass, black cardamom and more wondeful flavors with corn and peas. A homemade hot sauce on the table for those who want to kick it up a few notches. 2 Super Sativa and Crustini Super Sativa with is black pepper and rye, toasted bread aromas and flavors will be paired with crustini. Homemade sourdough and sourdough pumperknickel breads, toasted and topped with homemade cashew cheeses, smoked eggplant spreads and more 3 Blueberry Kush and Blueberry roasted tempeh Blueberry kush, like its name is an obvious pairing to anything with blueberries. We will get tempeh from our friends at rhizocali and roast it up with a blueberry marinate. Rice pilaf, cucumber pickles and a lot more to be added to this plate 4 Cookies and Sundaes Cookies a sativa/indica hybrid has amazing burnt sugar aromas and flavors. Thus ideal for dessert. Homemade waffle bowls with blueberry ice cream, blackberry ice cream (cashew based), pineapple sauce and maple pecans
