7th International Hemp Building Symposium

The 7th International Hemp Building Symposium will be held in Montréal, Canada and organised by the International Hemp Building Association. Our symposiums are well known for the ground-breaking technological innovations presented from around the world while at the same time providing an ideal opportunity for networking in this growing sector. This is the largest global gathering of hemp building experts. The two day event will consist of international speakers with the latest research results and material tests. There will also be presentations from people working in the industry about projects they are involved in both planned or completed. This year’s Symposium visit is an outing to a church and stone buildings situated nearby, which have been renovated with Hempcrete and Hemp plaster. Montréal, located in the Québec region, is the second largest city in Canada. Having French as the official language, Montréal is a bilingual city. As well as being a major cultural centre in Canada, it is also very historic, with the “Old Montreal” area, famous for its cobbled streets and old architecture. The Symposium language will be English. This years event will be held in Hotel Ruby Foo’s in Montréal, Québec.
