On August 8th, 2017, Hawaii's first medical marijuana dispensary opened for business in Maui. On August 11th, the first dispensary opened in Oahu. With this recent progress and more dispensary openings to follow, NOW is the time to get trained and certified so you don't miss out on the GREEN RUSH. Our last course sold out in advance and included a visit from dispensary representatives looking to hire staff. During the Cannabis Dispensary Certification Course, learn about Hawaii's eight (8) vertically integrated marijuana businesses created by ACT 241 and arranged in HRS 329D. This course covers all aspects of cannabis job training from seed-to-sale. Students who graduate should have all the skills needed to work in a vertically integrated Hawaii Medical Marijuana Facility, whether it be a retail dispensary, grow or manufacturing facility. Although there is no age limit to attend the event, some marijuana legal states like Hawaii have employment age requirements (Must be 21). What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Please park close to Trim Ready’s office at 726 Kapahulu Avenue. Most available parking spaces are on DATE STREET. There is also parking on nearby streets as well. What can I bring into the event? Please feel free to bring a pen and paper for taking notes.
