In 2000, Hawaiʻi became one of the first states to legalize the medical use of cannabis, but patients either had to grow their own or rely on the black market for relief. Teri Freitas Gorman will discuss Hawaiʻi’s first state-licensed medical cannabis dispensary, which opened on August 8, 2017.
