Cooking Cannabis with Aunt Sandy (Vegan)

Join us at Oaksterdam University this Saturday October 21, 2017 while Aunt Sandy shows us how to make a tantalizing cannabis infused vegan meal! In this class, she will apply her world famous 10x butter tips and tricks to non-dairy alternatives. She’ll be demonstrating how to prepare a show stopping Portobello Mushroom Wellington with a beautiful red wine reduction, fresh green beans, and then a decadent peanut butter fudge for a nice, sweet finish.* 100% vegan, 100% infused, 100% delicious! The first hour of class will be an introductory Legal 101 course: An important introduction to the legal issues surrounding medical cannabis and the cannabis industry. Learn about the laws that govern cannabis distribution, cultivation, possession, and consumption for adults and medical patients. Aunt Sandy’s passion for comfort style food, therapeutic cooking, and her perfected infusion processes have led her to become Oaksterdam University’s Cooking Instructor. Her class is about learning, improving, and refining the different forms of cannabis infusions while cooking and exploring delicious home-made recipes. Learn creative cannabis infusion methods and how to start creating your own! Upon completion of this course, students will be ready to prepare their own cannabis infused meals, treats, and drinks! *Onsite consumption at Oaksterdam University is not permitted by the city of Oakland.
