Public Hearing: Proposing Land Use for Med. Marijuana Dispensing

The Orange County Board of County Commissioners will conduct the second of two public hearings on November 14, 2017, at 2 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the County Commission Chambers, First Floor, County Administration Center, 201 South Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, Florida. You are invited to attend and be heard regarding the following proposed ordinance: AN ORDINANCE AFFECTING THE USE OF LAND IN ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, RELATING TO THE CULTIVATING, PROCESSING, AND DISPENSING OF MARIJUANA FOR MEDICAL USE; AMENDING SECTION 38-1 (ZONING DEFINITIONS); AMENDING SECTION 38-77 (ZONING USE TABLE); AMENDING SECTION 38-79 (CONDITIONS FOR PERMITTED USES AND SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS); REPEALING SECTION 38-80 ("MORATORIUM REGARDING MEDICAL CANNABIS ACTIVITIES WITHIN UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF ORANGE COUNTY"); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The proposed ordinance may be examined at the office of the Comptroller Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners; 201 South Rosalind Avenue, Fourth Floor; Orlando, Florida; between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
