The Cannabiz Pitch Competition

The Cannabiz Pitch Competition Presented by Heady Vermont: On Tuesday, November 14, Heady Vermont presents the first in The Cannabiz Pitch Competition series, where we will award $1000 cash to a Vermont-based business and/or entrepreneur, as well as additional in-kind professional business development services. This quarter's competition is sponsored by Merritt & Merritt and KIND Consulting, as well as Main Street Landing Film House who is sponsoring the Atrium reception space. This event is FREE to applicants and attendees. If you're interested in sponsoring a future pitch competition or having table space at the event, please get in touch! Applicants may submit their applications anytime through Friday, November 3 at 5 p.m. Five finalists will be chosen by the following week, and will have the opportunity to present their pitches, Shark Tank style, to the competition judges on Tuesday, November 14. There will be a reception from 6-7p.m., and pitches will take place afterwards in the The Black Box Theatre at Main Street Landing. Entrants may range from hemp cultivators to product-makers to software companies and all other legal enterprises. Prize funds may be allocated at the winner's discretion towards any/all business expenses, including meals, fuel, rent, professional services, and anything in between.
