Chers citoyens de LaSalle—Émard—Verdun et Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle, Moi, avec ma collègue, Mme Anju Dhillon, députée de Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle, et notre invité d’honneur, Michel Picard, député de Montarville, avons le plaisir de vous inviter à un forum public sur le projet de légalisation et régularisation du cannabis. Cette consultation donnera l'occasion aux électeurs des circonscriptions de LaSalle—Émard—Verdun et Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle de se renseigner sur ce projet de loi et ainsi vous fournir une plate-forme pour exprimer vos opinions, préoccupations et suggestions. L'événement aura lieu le 15 octobre 2017 de 14h00 à 16h00 au restaurant Ristorante Riventino (7 8e Av, LaSalle, QC H8P 2M6). Notre gouvernement s'est engagé à légaliser, réglementer et restreindre l'accès au cannabis. Nous discuterons de la façon dont la nouvelle législation et de la préoccupation des citoyens des deux circonscriptions et du pays dans son ensemble. Ce forum comprendra des discussions sur les volets suivants: 1. Le contexte de l’engagement du Gouvernement du Canada pour légaliser, rendre plus strict et restreindre l’accès au cannabis 2. Un aperçu de la Loi sur le cannabis proposée 3. De l’information sur nos activités en appui à cette initiative Venez en grand nombre, nous avons hâte d’échanger avec vous et d’en apprendre plus sur vos aspirations liées à la législation du cannabis. This consultation would provide the opportunity for constituents from both the LaSalle—Émard—Verdun & Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle ridings to learn about the cannabis legislation and provide a platform to express your opinions, concerns and suggestions. The event will take place on October 15, 2017 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at restaurant Riventino (7 8e Av, LaSalle, QC H8P 2M6). At the forefront of our mandate, our government had committed to the legalization, regulation and restricting access to Cannabis. We will discuss how the new legislation and how it is of concern to the citizens of both ridings and the country as a whole. This forum will include discussions on: 1. Context for the Government of Canada’s plan to legalize, regulate and restrict access to cannabis; 2. An overview of the proposed Cannabis Act; 3.
