Alaska Cannabis Job Fair

The Anchorage Cannabis Business Association (ACBA) is holding its 2nd Job Fair for the cannabis industry on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Crowne Plaza Anchorage-Midtown. We will bring together companies based in the Anchorage municipality including retail, cultivation, manufacturing, and testing operations as well as ancillary businesses such as accessory shops. EVENT SCHEDULE: Marijuana Handler Card Class (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) and (1:00 pm – 5:00 pm) If you want to work in the cannabis industry in any capacity, you must take a Handler Card class and pass the test. There is a $50 charge for the in-person course, and upon completion and passing of the course your certificate will be printed for you at that time. You then take the certificate to the AMCO office and they will give you a Marijuana Handler card. Take the opportunity to market yourself and broaden your horizons. Circulate your resume and complete an application. Please come for information about employement opportunities in the cannabis industry! If you have a resume, bring multiple copies to distribute as most businesses will be accepting job applications at the job fair.
