Science Cafe: "Medical Marijuana and Friends"

The Science Cafe "Medical Marijuana and Friends: From Illegal to Prescription?" will discuss the changing pharmaceutical landscape: In recent years marijuana has become an accepted if not still controversial medical treatment in several states. Other drugs that gained notoriety as illicit “recreational” substances have been given serious examination for treatments for depression, PTSD and other ailments. After about an hour presentation an open discussion will follow. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Science Cafes are meant for an interested general public and all are welcome.
