Join Juhu Beach Club chef Preeti Mistry (co-author of The Juhu Beach Club Cookbook: Indian Spice, Oakland Soul) and Curious Cannabis Salon founder Lisa Rogovin for a four-course delicious medical cannabis education. Chef Preeti's fresh, seasonal menu will contain CBD-enhanced dishes - meaning all of the wellness benefits of medical cannabis without the high (unless you want it - THC will be available for those that do). Navi Kitchen's excellent cocktails will be available for purchase. Cannabis newbies are encouraged, but all guests must have a medical marijuana ID card to attend.* (See below if you need one.) The private 20-seat restaurant menu will include: ** Flatbreads with fenugreek pesto and ricotta ** Sonoma duck salad, fall chicories, pomegranate, and tamarind vinaigrette ** Curryleaf Dungeness crab and shrimp momo (dumpling) bouillabaisse ** Saffron Meyer lemon sweet yogurt pudding The evening will begin with a brief guided meditation. Guests will sample products from local medical cannabis artisans, including edibles, tinctures, and paraphernalia, and get educated on medical cannabis' many health benefits for everything from anxiety and insomnia, to chronic pain and inflammation. While you chat and learn, there will also be delicious samples from the Juhu Beach Club Cookbook, which will be available for sale. Any dietary preference can be accommodated if requested with ticket purchase. Those wishing to dose any dish with a THC-infused high-quality extra virgin olive oil are welcome to do so. This event is limited, and there is only room for 20. Tickets are $97 inclusive of all fees, tax, tip, and non-alcoholic beverages. *Guests are required to have a medical marijuana card.
