New England Marijuana Dispensary Training - June 16th

This is a Professional Training Course to teach you what you need to know about cannabis and your state’s Cannabis Laws so that you can apply to work in a Medical Marijuana Dispensary. This class will cover the laws in all New England States - Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts! You will be working with cardholders in this position and must understand the medication before you start assisting others. The material is presented in a fast paced, 4 hour course with a summary exam at the end to get your certificate of completion. The goal of this class to help you understand the industry and the medication which will help boost your resume with the knowledge you need to speak intelligently when you land that interview for an opening at a dispensary in the near future. For those with no legal experience to put on a resume, training increases your chances of getting a job in the medical marijuana industry! On average, a Marijuana business owner gets over 200 resumes for every opening they post. With this training on your resume - you WILL stand out from the crowd! In Massachusetts, patients may possess no more marijuana than is necessary for the patient's personal, medical use, not exceeding the amount necessary for a sixty-day supply. Approved conditions include Cancer, glaucoma, HIV, AIDS, hepatitis C, ALS, Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and other conditions as determined in writing by a qualifying patient’s physician. The DPH website wrote on Oct. 8, 2014 that the Medical Use of Marijuana Online System (MMJ Online System) is now available for qualifying patients to register to possess marijuana for medical purposes. You needed to register with the MMJ Online System in order to possess marijuana for medical purposes, even if you already have a paper written certification from your physician. Paper written certifications were no longer be valid as of February 1st, 2015. On Nov 8th, 2016 Massachusetts voted to legalize recreational marijuana. This will allow residents to consume and carry small amount of cannabis without a prescription beginning December 15. The ballot initiative clears a path for marijuana retail stores to open in the state as early as January 1, 2018, which could bring in some $300 million in new tax revenue. Our trainer is flown in from Colorado specifically to teach this class and has plenty of inside information on how this industry works! Learn from someone who has been working with medical marijuana for years! Since they work in the marijuana industry every day, they have the most current information and product knowledge. They have already gone through the growing pains of the Medical Marijuana program and start up in their home state, so you will learn what to expect from their first hand experience. There will be a question and answer session as well, so bring all your questions regarding medical marijuana dispensaries! At the end of the course you will be given a 20 question exam that you must pass with 75% in order to get your HempStaff Certification. There is no state approved certification for Dispensary Training in ANY state yet, as it is still Federally Illegal, but we believe training is essential in order to allow this industry to succeed and help our patients get the relief they need!
