Matt Patterson ~ Stoneridge Art Studio ~ Exhibit and Sale

Matt Patterson ~ Stoneridge Art Studio Exhibit and Sale ~ Now through February Proceeds from sales will benefit VINS. Learn more: Matt Patterson grew up in the small town of New Ipswich, NH. His father was a biology teacher and early on he was exposed to all types of animals. Matt has always had the same two interests, wildlife and art. He loves the outdoors and in his free time growing up he was either out fishing, searching for turtles and snakes or Matt was painting. Today things haven’t changed much. He is a professional artist and his work reflects his love for nature. Matt has been bitten by snapping turtles and has caught alligators from a kayak all in the attempt to gather reference for his illustrations. Matt studied illustration at The Art Institute of Boston and has always had a focus on wildlife.....particularly reptiles and amphibians. He has a book that came out this spring titled The Snake and the Salamander - Reptiles and Amphibians of the Northeast. One of the goals with this book is to help develop an appreciation for these amazing animals and promote conservation. Hopefully people will find it interesting enough to research these species more. www.mpattersonart.com Instagram @stoneridgeartstudios https://www.facebook.com/stoneridgeartstudios
