The Basics of Medical Marijuana for Autism

Join us and special guests Texas MAMMA, Mothers Advocating Medical Marijuana for Autism, to learn all about how medical cannabis can help individuals with autism. MAMMA’s Director of Family Relations, Christy Zartler, CPNP, will be the special guest speaker, sharing personal stories of using cannabis to alleviate self-injurious behaviors. She will also talk about the different conditions that cannabis has been shown to help (seizures, self-injury, sleep, etc.), what the difference between THC and CBD are, as well as what parts of the plant that are effective for targeting certain conditions.
