CannabisCon

Halifax Conference Postponed! Following discussions with the Nova Scotia Provincial Government this week, we were advised that the Bill to legalize recreational cannabis would still be before the Nova Scotia Legislature on our original Halifax event dates of April 6th and 7th. This would restrict Nova Scotia’s Justices’ ability to participate. Based on discussions with all levels of government, we have decided to postpone the Halifax Conference. We are hoping to have new dates available for sometime later in May or early June, 2018. Once we have scheduled dates we will update the website and all social media. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to see you there when new dates are booked! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ #CannabisCon is a new and exciting job fair we have added into our Cannabis Canada Forums line-up this year. The full-day event will be held each Saturday of the Forums and will showcase exciting events, programs, key-speakers and job fair designed to educate and inform our Canadian public with a focus on business, relevant and new information, and proper education. Upon recognizing the vast need for relevant and timely information and education in the cannabis sector, our team has developed a program dedicated to meeting the needs identified within the Canadian public. We have partnered with The City of Edmonton, The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, The City of Calgary, The Calgary Chamber of Commerce, and The Halifax Chamber of Commerce in an effort to position our Forum with governing licensing in each market. New to our 2018 line-up: -Evening reception for the medical community on Building Your Cannabis Practice -Keynote Edmonton/Calgary/Halifax Chamber of Commerce Business Luncheon -#CannabisCon Consumer Day in each Market with on-site patient pre-assessments -Cannabis Canada Job Fair for industry employers recruiting staff. 2018 Cannabis Canada National Education Conference and Business Opportunity Forums will provide you with an educational program specifically designed to delve deeper into topics of interest to all Canadians, with sessions delivered by well-known and respected industry leaders.
