Free Workshop: Illinois Medical Cannabis Program (How to Apply)

The Chicago Center for Myofascial Pain Relief, Greenhouse Deerfield, and The Medical Cannabis Community are excited to present a FREE educational class on self empowerment through medical cannabis. Kirsten Velasco, from The Medical Cannabis Community will explain the science of medical cannabis and how to navigate the Illinois application process for those interested in applying for the program. In addition, Mary Bianclana from the Chicago Trigger Point Center will be giving attendees a hands-on self care demonstration for eliminating myofasical (muscle) pain caused by Trigger Points. And lastly, Mahjabeen from Greenhouse will discuss the palliative benefits of medical cannabis, and what patients can expect when visiting a dispensary. The event will begin at 7 pm with Kirsten Velasco, Mary Biancalana, and Mahjabeen Sulemanjee in attendance and presenting. The event will end at 9 pm. For those interested in signing up for a card, we will have a fingerprint vendor on-site to help you process your prints. Their fee is $60. The parking lot is handicap accessible and is shared with Walgreens, Shop & Save grocery store and other small businesses. The entrance to our suite is on the North-East corner of the building right next to Walgreens entrance. Once you enter, you can either take the elevator or the stairs to the 2nd floor and continue to the end of the hall.
