Stonerpop at RedGorilla 2018

The 2018 RedGorilla Music Festival will take place From Monday, March 12th to Saturday, March 17th in venues on 6th Street and in the heart of downtown Austin. The event is free to attend and open to the general public. RedGorilla has helped many artists gain large scale followings early in their careers and has showcased some of the best up and coming acts over the years, including Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons, The National, Foster the People, Cage the Elephant, Ryan Bingham, and more. The RedGorilla Music Festival launched nearly fifteen years ago as the DreamScapers Artist Showcase and grew each year under that name. https://www.redgorillamusic.com/ Located in Northern Louisiana, Stonerpop began writing music together and released their first, self-titled EP in November 2016. Within the single year between releasing their first EP and the follow-up, Physical Business, in November 2017, the act was one of five finalists nominated for Best Local Band in DeltaStyle Magazine's Best of The Delta. Stonerpop is made up of Jimmie Maneuva, from Shreveport, Louisiana and Maudie Michelle, from rural Idaho, - a couple who weave sounds as diverse as the cultures they represent. Maudie Michelle provides thought-provoking lyrics with her calming voice and quirky synth melodies. Her compositions interlock with the sonic assault of Jimmie Manueva's haunting backing vocals and groovy instrumentation. http://www.stonerpopculture.com
