Marijuana Cultivation, Harvesting & Trimming Course - Cannabis Job Training

Most Marijuana Cultivation Facilities are expanding operations and ramping up production because they can't keep up with demand for lab-tested flower, pre-rolls and infused products that require trim. Our 3-hour course focuses on indoor cannabis cultivation and led by industry experts like Master Grower Dennis Cantera. Students will learn all aspects of cannabis cultivation, harvesting, trimming and manicuring. You will receive handouts on Nevada's marijuana laws and discuss cultivation facility operating procedures. Upon course completion and certification, students will have a deeper understanding of the seed-to-sale cultivation process in Nevada and can start work. OUR CURRICULUM FOCUSES ON STATE REQUIRED MARIJUANA ESTABLISHMENT AGENT TRAINING SET FORTH IN NAC 453A.336: - Proper use of security measures, procedures for responding to an emergency. - Methods of cultivation and fertilization used by a facility. - Standard operating procedures. - Recognizing signs of insect infestation, pathogens and disease in marijuana plants. - Safe disposal of plants. - Nutritional requirements of plants at various growth stages, including proper mixing, dispersal of fertilizer and flushing procedures. - Harvesting, drying and curing marijuana plants. - Safe handling of equipment including lamps, electrical ballasts, pumps, fans and cutting equipment. You also will be added to our list of graduates and will receive emails regarding job placement. We do recommend that graduates update their resume and cover letter to include their most recent certification under the education/skills section. Does my certification work in other states? Yes, TRIM READY™ certifications are accepted as professional achievements/technical training in most marijuana legal states and any state we do business in. (Nevada, California, Hawaii and Florida). After graduation, please follow the proper steps of updating your resume and cover letter so we can be reached in case your employer is requesting a verification or vocational reference. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? There is no age requirement to attend the course, although the state you choose to work in might have age restrictions on working in a licensed cannabis facility.
