The PA Dept of Health has instituted a medical marijuana program within the state, and the potential impact on substance abuse treatment providers and individuals is being considered. Please join us for a training and discussion on this topic that will include: -Understanding the history of the cannabis plant -Understanding the medicinal and recreational uses and effects of THC, CBD and various plant components through a discussion of identified pharmacological properties -Understanding the current US legal environment for cannabis and hemp -Understanding the PA Medical Marijuana Program -Addressing and discussing the treatment implications of marijuana use Training will be presented by Mike Palladini for 6 CEUs
