We recommend this module for any management type employee, or employees interested in becoming more knowledgeable with the new labeling, packaging and transport changes. This class will cover the requirements for all license types and cannabis products. We will cover the recent changes in METRC as it pertains to packaging and transport regulations, including allowable package sizes and manifests. And also going over the new changes around labeling and packaging rules the went into effect July 1, 2018, incoming & outgoing processes, auditing packaging coming into your facility & how to create a detailed shipping & receiving check list for OPC, MIP & Dispensary License's. Facilatators: Jenny Germano of ICS Consulting & Aly Piscatelli of BOSS Consulting.  Description of Upper Management - Facility & Inventory Auditing + Best Practices ModuleThis module is an advanced level class covering Best Practices for Upper Management in Licensed Facilities in Colorado. We will cover how to do a proper inventory audit in your METRC, how to create a audit checklist, auditing your over all facility per MED rules, as well as some good HR Tips for managers and the importance of documenting and record keeping. We know how vital it is to learn good auditing practices as managers in this industry. Aly Piscatelli and Jenny Germano will share their best practices for overall facility and inventory auditing. Facilatators: Jenny Germano of ICS Consulting & Aly Piscatelli of BOSS Consulting.  About our Teachers Jennifer Germano has been working in the Colorado marijuana industry since early 2009. She began as an employee in a medical marijuana dispensary and worked her way up from the ground floor through every management position in a medical marijuana licensed facility. In January 2014 she helped open an adult-use marijuana facility in Denver where she was the Director of Operations of a multi-million-dollar retail dispensary and cultivation operation. ​In 2015 Jennifer founded ICS Consulting Service and transitioned from being an employee in the industry to an owner of a compliance support focused consulting business. ICS specializes in compliance-based services, such as third-party auditing for licensed facilities, employee compliance training, SOP development, facility build-outs, human resource and OSHA compliance, and assisting in opening new dispensaries. Jennifer is currently working with clients in Colorado, Maryland and Michigan markets. Aly Piscatelli, Owner and Operator, has been working in the Colorado Cannabis industry since 2011. From managing stores and production companies, to opening recreational shops and forging through the early days of the METRC system, she has stockpiled years of experience. She started BOSS Consulting in 2016, with goals of sharing her inventory control and METRC knowledge with other cannabis businesses. BOSS Consulting specializes in inventory audits and METRC, inventory SOP development and implementation, and employee training.
