Strutting for S.L.E. - Raising Lupus Awareness. One Strut at a time.

Join Rae's Cakez owner, Rae Matthews, on Sept. 14, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm for a Lupus Awareness event! Diagnosed in January 2018, Rae is on a mission to share her story and motivate others in support of people living with Lupus. In addition, Rae supports people living with fibromyalgia, as many times both conditions overlap in symptoms and pain experiences. Come out for music, swag bags, complementary wine, snacks and vendors as we celebrate the lives of those Surviving Lupus Everyday (S.L.E.).  S.L.E. is Rae's foundation created to "support, encourage, motivate and empower our fellow sisters and brothers who are surviving everyday with Lupus." All vending spaces sold out!  Specific vendors are wanted and only one per category will be accepted. All vendors present will offer a product or service that makes a positive impact on the lives of Lupus survivors. We are seeking the following: 1. One chair massage provided by a licensed massage therapist - This has been booked 2. One gemstone vendor with authentic healing stones or jewelry made of stones - Booked. 3. One CBD brand with tinctures, capsules, salves and other CBD infused products for wellness and pain relief. No THC content. Only CBD brands need apply. Booked. 4. One Reiki master who can offer in home or studio based services. Must have certification, literature and marketing materials. This has been booked 5. One natural body care brand Booked 6. One natural hair care brand - swag bag opportunity 7. Two ladies boutiques. Must also offer plus sizes. -swag bag opportunities All vendors must bring their own tables and chairs. Set up time is 3pm and a vendor guide will be provided. Swag Bag sponsors are accepted. Swag bags will be distributed to all guests in attendance. Normal foot traffic at this location is 100 ladies, however, we expect 200 turnout for this event. Minimum swag bag contribution is 50 sample size products with business cards. All swag bag contents must be dropped off by 7pm on 09/13/2018 during the Thursday night pop up shop hours. Swag Bag fee is paid below as a ticket. Drop off instructions will be emailed.
