The Economic Roundtable of Jacksonville is pleased to present the first event in our Fall Speaker Forum event for the 2018-2019 season, The Incredible Economic Impact of Medical Marijuana, where we will explore the economic impact of marijuana in our home state. Speaker Biographies Sally Kent PeeblesPartner, Vicente Sederberg, LLC Sally Kent Peebles focuses her practice on corporate, commercial real estate and regulatory matters. She helps clients navigate the patchwork of state laws controlling cannabis and hemp, and continues to successfully handle numerous cannabis business license acquisitions for clients in Florida, Colorado and Oregon. Prior to joining VS, Sally drafted oil and gas title opinions and performed due diligence for acquisition and divestiture transactions at a Denver law firm focused on natural resources and energy. Before law school, Sally was a publicist and booking agent for music entertainment artists in California and Colorado. She is often asked to speak at various marijuana business conferences on topics including licensing and investment in the marijuana industry. Peyton MoseleyVice President of Product Development, VidaCann Peyton Moseley is a married father of three children and has been a resident of Florida most of his life. He graduated from the University of South Alabama, where he studied Radiologic Science with an emphasis on Radiation Oncology. Peyton began his career as a Radiation Therapist with 21st Century Oncology in Fort Meyers, FL and has continued his clinical work from 2004 to 2014, most recently at Select Specialty Hospital in Pensacola, FL. Besides being active in patient care, Peyton has been involved in business development for over a decade, working with companies such as Stryker Orthopedics, Barnes Healthcare and Rotech Healthcare, where he worked successfully with both clinicians and healthcare systems to transition new and innovative products to their patients. In 2015, Peyton joined the VidaCann team where he acts as Vice President of Product Development. He has the pleasure of working with the VidaCann cultivation and laboratory teams to ensure the purist, most consistent products on the market. Peyton and his wife Holley were instrumental in the fight to bring high CBD low THC cannabis to Florida, through Senate Bill 1030 (2014). They continue the fight to provide a better quality of life for those affected by many diagnosis’ through the use of cannabis products.
