GUEST EXPERT….Nicole Skibola Nicole Skibola is a writer, illustrator, and holistic health advocate living in Northern California. After being diagnosed with a rare endometrial cancer as a young woman, she left New York City, began to draw for the first time in over twenty years, and founded Cosmic View, a design-forward line of organic medical cannabis products with her scientist mother. Wakeful Night is her first book. Nicole Skibola was 32 and a lawyer working in the New York start-up world when she received a diagnosis for a rare endometrial cancer. That surreal moment marked the beginning of a race to save eggs, to operate, and to mourn the loss of her reproductive organs. Pam's "day job" includes community cannabis education at Long Beach Collective Association as well as administration for local cannabis businesses. She is a 17-year Long Beach, CA resident; living with her Long-Beach-native husband in the Zaferia District. Emily Van Huss has worked in the beauty and hair industry for 18 years. As a single parent of a daughter, she entered into the cannabis industry as a patient AND an advocate of medical cannabis in 2008.
