Cannabis Community Talks - Cancer and Cannabis

October's CCT event will focus on Cannabis and Cancer. Cannabis Community Talks was created to ensure science-based education reaches patients who need true medical advice and are considering cannabinoid therapeutics (Medical Marijuana) as an alternative to narcotics. It is now accepted that cannabis can be used successfully as a treatment for people with cancer-related symptoms caused by the disease itself or its treatment.  Even the National Cancer Institute’s website has a PDQ (Physicians Data Query) - cancer information summary for health professionals providing comprehensive, peer-reviewed, evidence-based information about the use of cannabinoids in the treatment of people with cancer. It is intended as a resource to inform and assist clinicians who care for cancer patients. It does not provide formal guidelines or recommendations for making health care decisions. This presentation will take it a step further, and, explore the notion:  What if Cannabis could cure Cancer?    The latest studies will be presented surrounding the Anti-tumor effects of THC and CBD, including the newest research indicating that CBD is not only killing breast cancer cells in a laboratory setting, but is also down regulates a gene that is responsible for tumor growth and metastasis. This information not only has implications specific to breast cancer, but many cancers…this information may very well be mind blowing – or at the very least, lifesaving…. Make an educated decision about your health, by learning from licensed physicians and cannabis experts, who have been working with patients for years.  Don't miss out on this special event!  FAQs   What are my parking options at the event?
