From Seed to Smoke: De-Stigmatizing Cannabis

This session is designed for individuals over the age of 21 who are interested in understanding the business, acquisition and use of cannabis from seed to smoke including edibles.  This interactive session is designed to destigmatize the use and inform participants about the laws, purchasing and business opportunities in the cannabis industry.  Date: April 20th  Time: 2 - 4 pm Location: TBA in Washington, D.C.  Cost: $40 Participants will learn the following: Cannabis Strands: Indica Sativa Hybrids Acquisition: Weight Scales Understanding the affects of THC: Edibles Smoking Vaping Understanding CBD products Industry Opportunities  Note: In the State of Maryland decriminalized possession of 10 grams or less punishable by $100 fine for first offense, $250 fine for second offense, and $500 fine plus possible drug treatment for third offense. Maryland legalized medical cannabis and the Maryland General Assembly decriminalized the possession of marijuana paraphernalia (such as rolling papers, pipes and bongs) and decriminalized the smoking of marijuana in public. The measure makes both civil offenses punishable by a fine of up to $500.   In Washington, D.C., cannabis is legal for recreational and medical uses, but is barred from commercial sale. Although marijuana is legal under District law, the possession of marijuana is still illegal under federal law.
