Introduction to Medical Cannabis with Michael Backes-Lunch & Learn

Michael Backes, renowned cannabis researcher and author of Cannabis Pharmacy, will present easy-to-understand information about the medical use of cannabis. Learn about the basic science of  how and why cannabis works with our own Endocannabinoid System to help manage a wide range of conditions. Understand the differences between CBD and THC, why cannabis is so safe, why you don't have to smoke it, and how to use cannabis legally in Hawaiʻi. The $20 registration fee includes a hot buffet lunch and all class materials. Participants will also enjoy a 30-minute Q&A session with Michael at the conclusion of his presentation.
