Ramirez, M.A.Ed. With both the given name and a calling, Mskindness B. has remained committed to her work in education and philanthropy throughout her life. Following an extensive career in large-scale fundraising, she went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Education to become a high school math teacher. Though life had other plans for the new educator, after a slip and fall during her second pregnancy left her riddled with chronic pain and unable to continue her career in traditional education, her academic lens and desire to find a holistic approach to her healing led this bold mom to enter the cannabis space. In 2015, Mskindness created Club Kindness, a nonprofit organization that supports patients, brands, and dispensaries with holistic cannabis education and outreach program development. In 2016, she created Elixirs by Kindness, a boutique line of cannabidiol-infused remedies for the mature consumer. She is the host of Sneaking in Silence, a podcast about conscious cannabis consumption, co-owner of the luxury CBD store, ECS, and the author of the upcoming children’s book,​ Our Very Special Garden ​written to spark the canna-conversation between kids and their parents. Pam’s “day job” includes community cannabis education at Long Beach Collective Association as well as administration for local cannabis businesses. She is a 17-year Long Beach, CA resident; living with her Long-Beach-native husband in the Zaferia District. Emily Van Huss has worked in the beauty and hair industry for 18 years. As a single parent of a daughter, she entered into the cannabis industry as a patient AND an advocate of medical cannabis in 2008.
