Ohio Medical Marijuana Dispensary Training - October 19th

This class will be held LIVE via an Online Webinar! An intense 4 hour cannabis training for Ohio marijuana dispensary jobs , with certification test, to prepare you to work in a Ohio Medical Marijuana Dispensary. 10 AM - 2PM EST on October 19th.  Itinerary This is a Professional Training Course to teach you what you need to know about cannabis and your state’s Cannabis Laws so that you can apply to work in a Medical Marijuana Dispensary. You will be working with cardholders in this position and must understand the medication before you start assisting others. The material is presented in a fast paced, 4 hour course with a summary exam at the end to get your certificate of completion. For those with no legal experience to put on a resume, training increases your chances of getting a job in the medical marijuana industry! On average, a Marijuana business owner gets over 200 resumes for every opening they post. With this training on your resume – you WILL stand out from the crowd! On June 8th, 2016 Ohio Gov. John Kasich signed a medical marijuana legalization bill. This new law prevents patients from smoking marijuana or growing it at home, but it would allow its use in vapor form as well as edibles and oils. Conditions which a physician can recommend medical marijuana include AIDS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, Crohn’s disease, epilepsy or another seizure disorder, fibromyalgia, glaucoma, hepatitis C, inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis, pain that is either chronic and severe or intractable, Parkinson’s disease, positive status for HIV, post-traumatic stress disorder, sickle cell anemia, spinal cord disease or injury, Tourette’s syndrome, traumatic brain injury, and ulcerative colitis. In August 2018, Ohio issued the final stage of licenses for processors and testing labs.  Previously cultivators, dispensaries and testing centers have been approved. Now that all areas have been licensed the patient registry should open soon.  However, we still don’t expect dispensaries to open until late 2018, missing the Sept 8th mark that was planned for by a couple months. Some states call it a Budtender, Dispensary Agent, Compassion Care Technician or Patient Liaison. No matter what the title is, the job description is the same – it is the person that works behind the counter of a medical marijuana dispensary and here at HempStaff, we believe they need to be trained.
