Snowland

Snowland (or SnowLAnd) is an indica-dominant hybrid. It was created in the heart of L.A. by crossing Snowcap and L.A. Confidential. The funny thing about the name is that this strain comes from Southern California, where it’s too warm to snow.

DNA Genetics were the creators of this limited-edition strain. They developed a compact growing indica style plant with thick buds. The high is strong and the high lasts for more than an hour.

This strain gets its name from its super frosty looks and large amounts of tiny bright crystal trichomes. Look underneath the crystals and it will reveal dark amber hairs and dark curly hairs. Its best lab results at an average 24% THC level. Not too shabby.

How to Grow

Snowland is an easy to grow strain but DNA Genetics hasn’t released too much info about it. This strain will grow short, compact and fast. It will flower in 8-9 weeks and develop large yields. Expect 70% indica and 30% sativa results.

DNA Genetics developed Snowland because of house popular their limited release of Snowcap was. Four years later they created Snowland and it is also a big success. By using L.A. Confidential, DNA Genetics was able to control the unmanageable growth of Snowcap.

DNA Genetics is “quite proud” of their results. They label this strain as insanely strong with a long lasting high. They give Snowland 7.33 out of 10 possible points.

Medicinal Wonderland

Because of the strong effects and high THC levels, this strain is highly sought after by recreational and medical consumers. Snowland is great for treating people suffering from muscles spasms, appetite loss, nausea, depression and insomnia. The sweet tastes and smell make this strain a deliciously tasting natural remedy.

“Such a wonderful strain! Within minutes my lower back pain, muscle cramps and anxiety was lifted! The smell was sweet and subtle, not too skunky or earthy. The hits are gentle (for me) and the density of each nug is thick and frosty...” said Ladyopal420.

Both recreational smokers and medicinal smokers enjoy Snowland for similar reasons. Recreational smokers like the jolly boost it gives them when they smoke. Medical smokers can smoke a little more to get them out of their depression funk. Basically, Snowland can chase the dark clouds away.

SnowLAnd Effects

This grain gives people the giggles, and they also feel euphoric, hungry, chatty and relaxed. Smoke a little too much and the relaxing feeling turns into complete placidness, to couch-lock, to sleep. The euphoria is felt in the head first and then travels throughout the body. It doesn’t feel like a buzz, it feels like an uplifting vibe.

It is almost too difficult to know when too much of this strain was smoked. Smoking a little cause some dry mouth with dry eyes and slight feelings of dizziness. People feel relaxed and cheerful and they are ready to be social. But the high feeling might not be where it needs to be.

Smoke a couple more puffs or take a bigger dab and all of a sudden, the high is too much. The dry mouth sensation has gone overboard and the eyes start feeling like dried up sponges. The high also makes a smoker feel too lazy to do anything about their current physical issues. They might even pass out on the couch without going to bed because the bed is too far away to climb into.

Snowland from the Tropics

This strain is a flavorful strain. It is like bringing a taste of the tropics to your area. The buds have a sweet fruity flavor with undertones of lemons and pineapples with a splash of diesel. The nugs become pungent when burned.

The smells and tastes of Snowland in bud form vs. dab form are very similar. The smell of citrus and diesel is noticeable before heating the dab. After vaporizing it the tastes are stronger and more pungent.

On exhale the room is filled with white smoke that smells like a lovely lemon air freshener, with weed. The other members of the party will need to wait a sec in angst as they wait their turn to dab. It smells so good their mouths begin to water. It’s like watching steak cook, the smell is delicious and mouth-watering.

Have you tried Snowland? What was your impression of this strain? Is this strain as long lasting as people are claiming it to be? Or did it take a few extra tokes to achieve the desired effects? Let us know in the comments down below.
