Alaskan Thunder Fuck (AFK) is a Northern California sativa and a Russian ruderalis grown within the forests of Alaska. The resulting plant was then crossed with Afghani genetics in the late 70’s to make it heartier. Alaskan Thunder Fuck is a generic strain name that has several other aliases including ATF, Matanuska Thunder Fuck and Matanuska Thunder. There are also a few companies that sell their own variants of Alaskan Thunder Fuck. They are Dr. Greenthumb, Twisty Treat and GeneSeeds Bank.

Each company has slightly different variants of Alaskan Thunder Fuck. Dr. Greenthumb sells Matanuska Thunder Fuck. Their version is high yielding, grows in 60 days and is mostly sativa. It can grow indoors and outdoors and is sweet and grassy tasting. Twisty Treat sells Alaskan Thunder Fuck, which flowers in 67 days.
