Headband is an indica dominant hybrid. The genetics are linked to Sour Diesel, Master Kush and OG Kush. Other phenotypes of headband are sativa dominant hybrids.
Whichever one you purchase, headband is still a potent hybrid. This is not the type of herb you’d smoke before going to work. If something needs your undivided attention it is not recommended that people consume headband.
There are several renditions of headband in today’s market. Companies like Apothocary Genetics, Humboldt Seed Organization and Dr. Greenthumb all created their own version of headband. But they all share similar reports.

Louds Seeds' is aware that headband is usually a cross between Sour Diesel and an OG Kush. But they purchased their clone variant from the east coast. For Loud Seeds, it was an easy clone to take care of and claim that it is extremely stable.
Loud Seeds’ version of headband is indica dominant. They don’t recommend growing their version of headband indoors. Otherwise, it is an easy strain to grow with a flowering time of about 67 days.
Depending on the skills of the grower, headband can be easy to grow but it takes effort. Headband tends to grow large amounts of leaves that need constant pruning to improve air circulation. But the extra effort is worth it because headband has the capability of producing high yields.
It grows to medium height, not too tall and not too short. It’ll flowers quickly, within 7-9 weeks. It grows best in temperatures between 70 -80°F (21-27°C). Headband also does best in humidity conditions kept at 50%.
Headband tests show that it constantly averages around 15% THC levels. But don’t let those numbers fool you. Headband is one of those strains where the numbers don’t accurately tell you how high you can get. Regardless of the test results, headband always provides a strong head and body buzz.
Headband smells like pungent lemons with a hint of diesel. Others report that headband also has a peppery taste on the inhale followed by a subtle pine finish on the exhale. The smoke is smooth and not harsh or stingy.

Some negative symptoms of headband include dry eyes, headaches, dizziness and anxiety. New smokers tend to keep toking and toking until they start feeling high. That is a bad idea, its best take a couple puffs and then put it down and wait until the high sets in.
