Three Santa Ana police officers were sentenced to community service after pleading no contest to misdemeanor charges in connection with a pot shop raid. The three officers can be seen on security video eating snacks while serving a search warrant to Sky High Holistic, who was believed to be operating without a license.

The pot shop’s lawyer accused the officers of eating marijuana edibles, but prosecutors argued the items were protein bars and cookies and that there was no evidence the officers consumed any marijuana products (three police officers eating cookies?).

Regardless, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office filed a misdemeanor for theft charges against the three. All pled no contest to one misdemeanor count and received varying hours of community service.
